Metal Fabrication

The Weymouth High School Metal Fabrication program offers high-quality custom metalwork to the community. All projects are designed and built by students under the guidance of our expert instructors, giving students valuable hands-on experience.

In 2025, the shop acquired a new press brake, expanding the type of work students can complete and offering training on equipment used in modern fabrication shops. This upgrade enhances students’ learning experience and better prepares them for co-op placements and future careers in the skilled trades.

Our shop can take on a wide variety of custom metal projects, including:

• Fire pits
• Custom metal signs
• Seasonal décor (trees, menorahs, yard art)
• Functional and decorative metal items
• Special requests and custom designs

Pricing: Project cost is based on materials + 10% to cover consumables. Quotes are provided before work begins.
