Booster Information

We are fortunate at WHS to have an active community of booster clubs supporting our athletes!
Many sports programs at our high school have their own dedicated booster organizations, which operate under certain policies and rules regarding fundraising. While the size and involvement of each booster club may vary, they all play an important role in supporting our student-athletes.
Booster presidents, who are often parents of varsity team captains or seniors in the program, maintain regular communication with the Athletic Director. At the beginning of each season, boosters typically reach out to parents/guardians of participating student-athletes to communicate their plans for the upcoming season.
Throughout the season or school year, boosters focus on fundraising to provide program swag (e.g., sweatshirts, t-shirts) for players and support end-of-season banquets. They often also coordinate activities to support the athletes' experience during the season, such as providing food and snacks for away games.
Parents interested in getting involved with their student-athlete's booster club or seeking more information should contact the Athletics Office.
Boosters must comply with all Weymouth School Committee policies and School Department financial procedures. Please contact the district’s Community Relations Liaison for more information.
