Student Athletic Expectations & Information

As a student-athlete, you represent Weymouth High School and the entire Weymouth community. We expect you to show respect, responsibility, and good sportsmanship—on and off the field. We expect you to:

• Be honest, respectful, and committed. Always act with integrity, both in and out of uniform.

• Be present and prepared. Attend all practices, games, and team meetings unless you have a valid reason and let your coach know ahead of time.

• Respect everyone. Show sportsmanship at all times. Treat teammates, coaches, opponents, officials, and fans with kindness and fairness.

• Put school first. Keep your grades up and go to class on time and regularly. Being a student comes before being an athlete.

• Represent Weymouth with pride. Make good choices that reflect well on you, your team, and your school.

• Follow all rules. This includes the Athletic Guide, the WHS Student Handbook, and School Committee Policies, especially:

  • JICFA: No Hazing

  • JICH: No Alcohol, Tobacco, or Drugs

• Be a role model. Set a good example for other students and younger athletes in the community.
